Five or more in a row wins.
The game as it is played everywhere, with no restrictions at all: the plain name belongs to the plain game, and the others are this one with a rule tightened.
Also known as Five in a Row, Gobang, Gomoku Narabe, Wuziqi, 五子棋, Spoil Five, Pro Go-Moku, Large Go Moku, Small Go Moku.

- Be the first to make a line: 5 or more in a row wins.
Board盤
- A square board of 9, 13, 15, 19 lines; 9×9 by default.
Play手順
- Players take turns placing one stone on an empty point.
- A full board with no line is a draw.
House rules細則
- Either colour may open, or the first stone may be drawn by lot.
- Openings on offer: Free, Pro, Long Pro, Swap, Swap2.
- The threat reading, hints and the chance-of-winning bar apply.
- Any size. Black has a proven forced win on 15×15 with perfect play, so stronger players give the first stone away or pick an opening protocol.
