Square Four四角四目

Four pieces each. Line them up, or make a square.

Our version of the place-then-slide game with a square as a second way to win.

Inspired by Teeko. The name belongs to its owner; this is our own version of the rules.

Object目的

  • Be the first to make a line: 4 or more in a row wins.
  • Four of your pieces in a 2×2 square also wins.

Board

  • A 5×5 board.
  • Each player has 4 pieces.

Play手順

  • Players first place their 4 pieces, one a turn. Then a turn moves one of your pieces a single step to an adjacent empty point, in any direction.
  • A full board with no line is a draw.

House rules細則

  • Either colour may open, or the first stone may be drawn by lot.
  • The threat reading, hints and the chance-of-winning bar are switched off: stones move after they are placed, so a line-by-line reading says nothing true.
  • 5×5.
