The international rules on a 12×12 board, with thirty men a side.

The grand jeu de dames of French Quebec: the international game on a board of 144 squares. Boards that size were on sale in London by 1805, and the Canadian championship dropped the huff — the old forfeit of a piece that failed to capture — in 1880 (H. J. R. Murray, 1978). Little is played now, and no federation's draw rules for it could be found, so the draws here are the FMJD's, borrowed from international draughts.

The object 目的

  • Leave the other side with no piece that can move: jump theirs off the board until none is left, or shut in whatever remains.
  • No lines and nothing placed after the start: every piece is down from the first move, and the whole game is in how they step and jump.
